full body shot of my Black Templar space marine captain costume. It turned out realy good, the only thing that bugs me is the robe, it looks a bit to short. I burned a bit to much off the robe...ohwell, atleast i don't step on it any more. I also chained my weapons to my arms. I still can remove the weapons tho. Also added a amulet thingy to the banner, some bolterround on my belt and made some extra bullet holes in the banner and robe. Well, that's about it. Hope you like it!

for you who don't know warhammer 40000, it's a table top strategy game with 28mm models. here is a example: [link]
you can see that it's based on several models.

What in the world did you make the costume out of? My better half wants to construct a costume of his own (and I wouldn't mind fashioning one for myself) and I'm curious as to the materials you used for this.

materials: Wood, PU-foam (looks a bit like the bleu/pink foam) textile and a textile hardener to cover it all up, thats about it.

huh chained your weapons to your arms ... orks are looting everything nowerdays. And don t worry about your robe it looks cool (be happy the melter didn t aim higher XD )

yeah black templars chain there weapons to them self so they won't be taken if they would die on the field of battle.
