Armor concept WIP IIby ~kaaskop

Artisan Crafts / Costumery / Props & Accessories

left; me wearing what I got, sort of a impression. Gotta add some black foam to the ab-plates to make them wider and ofcourse attach them to the chest plate. Now they just hang loose.
Middle; back of the chestplate, I still have to make the light fixture things that go on the round things.
Right; the front of the chestplate, just need to add some more details.

Indy Mogul (backyard fx) is a youtube channel that had released a tutorial on how to make sci-fi armor using the foam rubber floor-panels an exacto knife and a heat gun (to mold the armor)and it looked similar to what you have made.

I looked it up and it's similar, but you could see it was foam. While with mine it's clearly a hard/metal looking armor combined with soft armor.

Great work so far. The helmet would look sweet if you added some lens and then backlit them with some LED's to give it that sorta space marine / Iron man look. The chest piece is looking great, also the back of the armor looks good but feels like its missing something. Perhaps where the three cylinders are, attack say like some longer water bottles, add some green or Blue LED's and light them up, Or Spray them solid, add some details so they appear like a sort of battery pack. Just a few ideas that I think might kick things up a notch.

Overall Great work. Look forward to seeing what more you add to it. probably belt, legs and arms i would Guess?
