By the way sorry if I'm hassling you - I do have my own ideas how to do it...

I'm going to use backpack straps to hold together the leg sections and also the front/back of the chest piece. I think that would work ok and if i make them small enough i should be able to cover them so they don't look out of place.

Heading down to the hardware store tomorrow ;)

Think I've settled on a blood raven colour scheme.
